Valley of Tears

On these pages, we give everyone the opportunity to say goodbye to their relationship or to put their feelings into words.

We know how horrific it is to lose the person you loved — and it makes no difference whether through an accident or because they simply left. Both are blows of fate that lie beyond our control. Within us is the question “Why?”

We implore God or a higher power with the plea for help, yet God does not listen. What remains is pain, thoughts of the past, shattered dreams, a broken self, a “you” crying out for help.

Yes, the pain can take on a form that is no longer bearable — and unfortunately it is so:

“When the soul weeps, the person breaks.”

How many more pains, we ask ourselves, can we endure? Psychology would now say unlimited, since the human being has an unlimited capacity for suffering. Does one really?

Separation always has something to do with death. Laying the beloved person to rest is very difficult; every fiber of the body resists it. Often, very often, I envy the person with borderline — not them, but the ability to split — and I ask myself whether hate is not something to protect us from the pain.

We can all only try to find a way to cope with the inner pain. The lines bear the truth within them, and anyone who has been in a borderline relationship will understand them.

This page is meant to help all those who are lonely and helpless in their pain.
